KNOW THE REAL HISTORY OF OUR ORGANIZATION
The Islamic Revival Mission in Sierra Leone was founded in accordance with a resolution adopted during the meeting of the General Islamic Conference, which was held in Holy Freetown on the 14th of Dhul Hijjah 1381 Hijra corresponding to 18 May 2023.
Islamic Revival Mission in Sierra Leone is an NGO headquartered in Freetown, with members from all Islamic countries and sects. It presents true Islam and promotes friendship among people. Its goal is to clarify the true message of Islam It aims to present the true Islam and its tolerant principles, provide humanitarian aid, extend bridges of dialogue and cooperation with all, engage in positive openness to all cultures and civilizations, follow the path of centrism and moderation to realize the message of Islam and ward off movements calling for extremism, violence and exclusion for a world full of peace, justice and coexistence.

Mission
The Islamic Revival Mission (IRM) seeks to uplift the spiritual, moral, and socio-economic well-being of Muslims in Sierra Leone through educational initiatives, poverty alleviation programs, and interfaith dialogue, while promoting values of peace, unity, and social justice.
Objectives
Promote Islamic Education: Establishing schools, madrasahs, and training programs that provide quality Islamic and secular education.
Socio-Economic Development: Implementing projects that focus on poverty reduction, skills training, and income-generating activities for underprivileged Muslims.
Interfaith Dialogue: Engaging in constructive dialogues with other religious communities to promote mutual respect, understanding, and peace.
Humanitarian Assistance: Providing aid and relief during natural disasters, emergencies, and crises to support vulnerable populations.
Health and Well-being: Promoting healthcare access, clean water, and sanitation, particularly in underserved Muslim communities.
